ORP stanzas 21-30

David's parents tell Tally about the operation,
It secretly makes a beautiful but dumb nation.
With the surgery lesions are put in the brain,
Making everybody stupid, not the same.

With this new truth Tally throws away the pendant.
It burns in a fire and she becomes independent.
She no longer wants to please Dr.Cable
She will not be fooled with her lies and fables.

What Tally did not know is what the fire could do.
It triggered the pendant and in the Specials flew.
Tally did not understand, she thought she was free
But she had no time, she could not flee.

The Specials burned down the entire Smoke
To them it seemed like an ugly joke.
They captured the Smokies and imprisoned them all
The Specials were not expecting the Smokies to brawl.

Tally is brought to Dr.Cable and tells a lie,
She makes her believe she's still a trusted spy.
But Tally is smart and says the necklace is hiding,
It just so happens that it's where the hover boards are lying.

Tally tricks the Special and gets the board,
And through the winding paths she soared.
The Species followed and tried to chase her down,
But they did not know the ways around the town.

Tally hides inside a cave of rocks,
And when she arrives she stands shocked.
David is there, hiding and scared,
They are so happy they are finally paired.

Tally and David return to the Smoke.
What they see makes them choke.
All is destroyed, buried in flames.
The Boss is dead due to the Specials games.

The two decide to check David's parent's place.
Inside their is not a trace.
David knows that his parent's were full of whit,
They search and find a survivor's kit.

Tally and David make a pact.
They will go to the city and bring the Smokies back.
It won't be easy, David only knows these parts,
But they must do it and get a head start.
